UK Supreme Court rules that Uber drivers are not self-employed

The decision could mean thousands of Uber drivers are set to receive minimum wage and holiday pay.

Uber and Lyft are great technologies but their whole business model is wrong. It’s one thing if you empower a casual driver to weather a temporary unemployment or spring holidays as a student. But once people start putting grueling shifts of 60+hours/week driving, they’re a different thing.
