GNOME default Activities Overview sucks

Reposted First Look at GNOME 40’s New Design Changes in Fedora 34 by Marius NestorMarius Nestor (9to5linux.com)

In GNOME 40 the Activities Overview has a horizontal layout […] I don’t usually use the Activities Overview […] I enable the awesome Dash to Dock extension.

The author of this post says the most important change in GNOME 40 is the Activities Overview being horizontal, claiming it’s “more intuitive”. But then immediately admits it’s useless because he uses an extension to modify GNOME’s default behavior.

GNOME developers are shipping something so “intuitive” that it’s useless?

I miss Unity.
